ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS Pro is ESRI's powerful, single desktop GIS application. Pro allows users to work directly from their desktops, and supports data visualization, advanced analysis, and authoritative data maintenance in both 2D and 3D. ArcGIS Pro also includes access to ArcGIS Online, which supports data-sharing through the web. To get started with ArcGIS Pro, visit the ArcGIS Pro support page.
ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS Online is ESRI's cloud-based platform, and can be used anytime, anywhere. Your maps scale so hundreds or even millions of people can interact with them at the same time. ArcGIS Online is easily accessible; you only need your Texas State NetID and password to log in.
ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap)
ArcGIS Desktop is ESRI's desktop-only platform. It does not interact with ArcGIS Online. Use ArcGIS Pro to get the full features of Pro and Online. For more information visit the ArcGIS Desktop support page.
