Editing Attendance Meetings

The Edit Feature allows the instructor to change date and times, cancel, reactivate, and delete individual attendance meetings.


Edit Meeting

When an attendance meeting has been created, a pencil icon will be displayed to the right of the meeting date and time.

  • Select the pencil icon to enter the edit screen for the attendance meeting.

Delete Meeting

A deleted meetings are completely removed from the Attendance tool. There is no way to recover them. 

  1. In the edit screen, select Delete Meeting.

Change Meeting Date and Time

  1. In the edit screen of the meeting, Select the appropriate Start date/time field to change the meeting date or time.

  2. Select Save Meeting once you have completed your edits.


Cancel Meeting

Cancelling a meeting does not affect attendance totals. When a meeting is cancelled, you are retaining a record mainly for record-keeping purposes.

  1. In the edit screen of the meeting, select Cancel Meeting.

    NOTE: The meeting will appear with cancelled as the status for all students. You will not be able to take attendance for cancelled meetings.

Re-activate Meeting

Re-activating a meeting allows you to reinstate a cancelled meeting. 

  1. On the canceled meeting, select the pencil icon to enter the edit screen.  

  2. Select Restore. The meeting will appear in the Attendance tool, and you will now be allowed to take attendance for site participants. 

    NOTE: You cannot mark all student’s attendance status from this screen. You can only do this when creating a new meeting.
