Messages

Messages are internal notes sent between users in ePortfolio. These are not sent to the student's Bobcatmail by default. This should not be used for urgent or important communication. 


Organize Messages into Folders

To organize your messages into folders, you will first need to create the folders:

  1. Log into ePortfolio.
  2. Enter your NetID and password.
  3. Expand the Home tool in the left menu.
  4. Click Messages.
  5. Click Folders.
  6. Click the + icon to add a new folder.
  7. Give your folder a name, then click Add.
  8. Check the box next to a message you wish to move into a folder.
  9. Click the folder icon at the top of the page and select the folder into which you wish to move the message.
  10. Repeat as necessary.
  11. Note: You can move more than one item at a time, provided that all items selected will be moved into the same folder.

Deleting Messages

  1. Log into ePortfolio.
  2. Enter your NetID and password.
  3. Expand the Home tool in the left menu.
  4. Click Messages.
  5. Check the box next to any message you wish to delete.
  6. Click the trash can icon at the top of the Messages page.
