How to Complete Student Teaching Mandatory Requirements


Binder is Not Ready

If you have not yet received your binder, you can still complete your Mandatory Requirements Artifact in ePortfolio to add to the Mandatory Requirements tab of your binder when it is ready.

Step 1: Create the Mandatory Requirements Artifact

  1. Login to ePortfolio.

  2. Enter your NetID and Password.

  3. Click Artifacts in the left menu.

  4. Click +Create New Artifact

  5. Select the Student Teaching - Mandatory Requirements option from the drop-down menu.

  6. Click Select.

  7. Complete the Artifact.

  8. Click Create.

    You have now saved the Artifact to your artifacts area in ePortfolio.

Step 2: Attach Artifact to Binder

Once you have received your binder, you can attach your completed Artifact to your binder.

  1. Login to ePortfolio.
  2. Enter your NetID and Password.
  3. Click the Student Teaching Field Experience under Pending Tasks. 
  4. Click the Mandatory Requirements tab.
  5. Click Select.
  6. Click the Select Existing tab at the top of the window, then select the artifact you already created.
  7. Click Add.

    NOTE: Save your progress until you're ready to submit at the end of the semester.

Binder is Received

  1. Login to ePortfolio.

  2. Enter your NetID and Password.

  3. Click the Student Teaching Field Experience from the Pending Tasks list. 

  4. Click the Mandatory Requirements tab.

  5. Click Select.

  6. Complete the artifact.

  7. Click Add.
     
    NOTE: You will only click Submit once all Field Experience forms have been completed, at the end of your field experience.
     
    NOTE: If you have questions about the requirements for this artifact (your insurance, the Educator Code of Ethics, or the Waiver of Liability), please contact your University Faculty member or the Office of Educator Preparation.
