How to Compare a GPO to another GPO

To compare a GPO to another GPO: 

  1. Log on to the Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM) client with a user account that has been assigned the Editor role.
  2. In the Group Policy Management Console tree, click Change Control in the forest and domain in which you want to manage GPOs.
  3. In the details pane, click the Contents tab and then click the Controlled tab to display the controlled GPOs.
  4. On the Controlled tab, click once on a GPO.
  5. Press Ctrl and then click on another GPO.
  6. Right-click the second GPO, point to Differences, and then click HTML Report.
