History, Vision, & Mission
History of Learning Spaces
Learning Spaces used to be known as Classroom Technologies Support (CTS) and was a part of the Instructional Technology Support (ITS) unit. The department was renamed to Learning Spaces in 2016 and became part of the IT Assistance Center (ITAC) in 2018.
Learning Spaces provides services related to the design, installation, maintenance, support, and training for audiovisual (A/V) systems campus-wide. The focus is on learning spaces (classrooms, labs, and informal learning areas), but conference rooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces may also be supported. If it has A/V technology, Learning Spaces is probably involved!
