How to Access Multiple Display Options

Windows will automatically detect any display device that is connected. To manage connected display devices users must access the Screen Resolution menu 

1a. Right-click on the desktop -> Screen Resolution.

1b. Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Display -> Adjust Resolution

2. Select which display device and property to be adjusted.

Display: Users select which display device they need to modify.

Resolution: Adjust the resolution that the selected device is to display. A drop-down menu appears allowing the user to slide a bar up to increase the resolution or down to decrease it.

Orientation: Select the orientation of the display devices.

Landscape: The standard display orientation in which the monitor is horizontally orientated.

Portrait: A monitor"s vertically orientated.

Multiple Displays:

Duplicate: Copies the primary display device"s desktop onto the secondary. This option is useful to laptop users.

Extend Display: Extends the desktop area to multiple display devices. Users with a dual monitor setup would use this setting.

3. Once the device has been configured, click Apply then OK

Congratulations! You have successfully accessed multiple display options.
