Integrating Microsoft Teams into Canvas

  1. Click on the Canvas Course you'd like to integrate Microsoft Teams with.

  1. Click Settings
     

on the side bar, click on settings

  1. Click Integrations
     

In settings tab, please click Integrations

  1. Toggle On Microsoft Sync. 
     

Within Integration Turn on the feature "Microsoft Sync"

  1. Click on Sync Now
     

In the same page, please click Sync Now near the middle of the page

  1. Click on Navigation
     

At the top click Navigation

  1. Drag Microsoft Teams classes to the top portion of the navigation option.
     

Drag Microsoft Teams classes to the top of the list

  1. Click Save.
     

Click Save at the bottom

  1. Click on Microsoft Teams classes.
     

on the right hand side list of canvas, click on MicroSoft Teams classes

  1. Click Open.
     

a small window will appear, click on Open

  1. Once your Teams class has opened, click the Activate button

    CAUTION: Once you click Activate, your student will be able to see the Teams Class.
     

Once in Teams Classes, you can click Activate.

  1. Click Activate, then OK.
     

A window will appear, asking you to click Activate,

Press Okay

  1. Your Teams Class is now ready to use.
