Get Sequoia

Microsoft 365 supports the three most recent major versions of Apple’s macOS; currently, macOS Sequoia, macOS Sonoma (14), and macOS Ventura (13.3). No longer supports Mac computers using macOS Monterey (12) or earlier. You will need to upgrade to a supported macOS to continue securing your computer data and receiving updates.  Learn how to determine if your Mac needs to be upgraded and how to do so.

New Computer Orders

All new Texas State standard Mac computer orders automatically come with Sequoia.

Existing Texas State-owned Computers

Sequoia is available to Texas State-owned Mac computers through ITAC's re-image services.

Texas State-owned mac computers managed by Jamf can install Sequoia via System Preferences\Software Update

NOTE: Due to recent changes in Apple security, the upgrade will not be made available in Jamf TXST Self Service. 

Do not upgrade a Texas State-owned Mac computer to using a personal Apple ID.
