IT Supported Classrooms List

IT Supported Classrooms are funded by the IT Division and supported by ITAC. Supporting these classrooms is ITAC's primary priority. In addition to IT Supported Classrooms, ITAC offers additional support to some departmental classrooms. For more information on these spaces, see the list of Departmental Classrooms.

Video Conferencing Technology
All classrooms are equipped with a USB-enabled document camera which can be used as a webcam. Classrooms with this technology are denoted in the table below as "Doc Cam".

Some classrooms have been enhanced with an installed ceiling microphone and camera. Classrooms with this technology are denoted in the table below as "VC Enabled".

Note: If a classroom has both a Mac and a PC, the video conferencing technology will be connected to the PC only.

TXST Classroom Technology Resource
Learn how to use the classroom technology by enrolling in the TXST Classroom Technology Resource. This all-in-one Canvas course covers how to use the the different standard control systems as well as the doc cams and video conferencing technology.

DLP Online Course
If the classroom generation is listed as a DLP1 or DLP2 room, enroll in the DLP Online Course to get detailed directions on utilizing the special Zoom Rooms system found.

Default Dual Platform

Some classrooms are granted dual computing platforms (Mac and Windows) by default due to their ownership, seat count, or regular events usage. The dual platforms are provided, managed, and maintained by ITAC as part of the regular replacement cycle.
